Following World Suicide Day, the importance of understanding your sensory profile is something to be highlighted. 

Sensory Sensitives (like yours truly) are over processing of the environment, and more prone to mental ill-health due to heightened stress and anxiety, with limited limbic and reticular system processing. 

We see everything, hear everything, smell everything, feel everything – we experience the stress response not only due to work/relationship demands, but also in response to everyday, non-threatening environmental stimuli. Our bad! 🙂

You have to understand your sensory needs and responses, to manage emotions and take care of your mental health and wellness in a scientific yet effective way. It’s a real eye-opener; a true and lasting gift.
